Koerner has more than 25 years of experience and research, worldwide patents, and customers in 50 countries worldwide.
Dear Mr. Wurm,
The first tanks were supplied by the predecessor company Koerner Chemieanlagenbau in the 1970's to the Siegener Group, and in the 1980's to the large galvanising plants in Bochum and Gross-Rohrheim by Darmstadt. With their considerable sizes of more than 15 m, these pickling tanks are subjected to very high demands in our plants and most are still in operation.
In the same way in the 80's, Verzinkerei Becker, Saarlouis was reconstructed. Here as well, the old pre-treatment was replaced by new KVK tanks from Koerner. In the 1990's, the newly constructed Verzinkerei Peine was equipped with 14 Koerner pre-treatment tanks. This plant has also already been in full operation for more than 15 years without any maintenance work worth mentioning.
A milestone in our cooperation with Koerner was the new construction of the high temperature galvanising plant in Kreuztal in 2001. At that time, Siegener chose the new KVK technology from Koerner consisting of a completely encapsulated pickling line with guaranteed wastewater-free operation.
In 2008, Koerner was commissioned in Würzburg to also construct a completely encapsulated, new pickling plant for automatic operation. This new plant has also proven itself in full operation and is a nice reminder of the trusting collaboration that has spanned more than 30 years.
We extend our congratulations for the company's 25th anniversary and wish Koerner Chemieanlagenbau continued success in the future and express our thanks for such good cooperation.
