Whenever exceptional stress to the pickling tank is to be expected, (e.g. double dips) supplementary protection plates (on the front sides of the tanks) or wearing plates (on the bottom) can be installed.
With these plates, which protect the tank from any mechanical damage, the tanks are virtually maintenance free.
