SBG is part of the Prestia group of companies, which operates five plants for surface treatment in Western France.
The newest galvanising plant went into operation in La Chapelle-Caro in 2011. Together with the partner companies, KVK Koerner was very closely involved starting with the planning of this project.
With a tank size of 16.8 x 2.3 x 3.4 m, it is among the largest plants of this type in Europe.
The hot dip galvanizing plant is operated fully automatically according to the latest principles of material logistics and meets the highest requirements of environmental protection, not least due to the encapsulated pre-treatment in accordance with the KVK system.
