The Nedcoat Group operates several galvanising plants as well as a powder coating business and is one of the market leaders in the Netherlands.
In order to meet the demands of the increasingly strict environmental regulations as well as the rising demand for galvanised products, the decision was made invest in a replacement to the old Noord Nederland plant at a new location.
After intensive concept discussions for the new plant, a plant layout that was optimised for the product portfolio was developed in close cooperation with KVK Koerner as well as its partners.
KVK Koerner was able to convince Nedcoat of the quality and competence of its own services and KVK Koerner constructed one of the most modern galvanising plants worldwide.
Due to the high level of experience of the Nedcoat Group and the support of the suppliers of the plant components, it was possible to put the plant into operation in the scheduled amount of time and reach its planned capacity following a steep ramp-up curve.
